It's time to "slow-mo" down and celebrate the class of 2016! Each graduating class of students involved with Ram Catholic, a campus ministry that serves Colorado State, attend a series of recognition events. This event was the first in a series of three events to cultivate alumni donors to the ministry.

Seniors enjoyed a classy night of signature cocktails, an array of hors d'oeuvres and the opportunity to catch up with classmates.

The highlight of the evening was a slow-motion camera that turned a traditional photo booth into a focal point for entertainment. Attendees would do something silly in front of the camera then everyone got to watch it play back in slow motion on the TV screen.

Students enjoyed this opportunity to make memories with their classmates, and take time to just enjoy the their remaining time at Colorado State, and as part of Ram Catholic.

Fr. Rocco Porter, the pastor at Saint John XXIII where Ram Catholic is housed, came to address the students. His goal was to thank them for coming to the event and for their participation in the ministry. He also discussed the tradition for each class to give something back to the ministry and he asked any interested volunteers to sign up to represent the class in making the gift giving decision. These volunteers will present their gift proposal at the second event in February.

For this event, I acted as Student Coordinator and worked alongside Saint John XXIII's Development Directors and Campus Ministers. I was in charge of coming up with the theme, creating a visual graphic for invitations, managing the attendee invite list and creating decorations. Additionally, I helped to brainstorm ideas for food and beverage and helped to set up and tear down for the event.
