The Catholic Foundation Alliance acts as an agency for seven ministries within the archdiocese of Denver for development, marketing and events services. As intern, I worked with the event staff to input and maintain donors, track donations and assist with day of logistics for two golf tournaments and a donor reception.

Silver Kite Community Arts Consulting - Seattle, WA 
Silver Kite works with NGOs, retirement communities and schools to use theater as a way to teach social skills and tell stories.  It focuses on building curriculum that fosters empathy  across generations and cultures.  Responsibilities as intern included writing and distributing monthly press releases, creating synergetic graphic and publication design materials, contributing to monthly newsletters, compiling marketing lists, creation of promotional videos and managing event promotion on Facebook and Twitter.

TEDxCSU - Fort Collins, CO

TED believes in ideas worth spreading and has created a platform for anyone with great ideas to share. TEDx events are independently organized and provide a way for local communitiy members to share their own ideas worth spreading. 

 

I coordinated the innovation expo of 18 businesses, assisted with other day of event logistics including venue decor and catering at the 500 attendee annual conference "TEDxCSU:Know Better, Do Better" (October 2014). 

I also acted as emcee and venue coordinator for the 100 attendee community salon (April 2014)

Nerdy Derby at the NoCo Mini Maker Faire - Loveland, CO
Organized and led team in the procurement of in-kind and monetary donations from 20 local businesses. At the event, a design and creativity expo, kids could create and test mini race cars at the Nerdy Derby booth. Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Advocacy and the Public (LEAP) sponsored activity.
