500 students and community members gathered to hear nine interdisciplinary speakers share ideas on how to "Know better." and "Do better." based on a quote by the late Dr. Maya Angelou.

One of my main tasks as a logistics director was to coordinate "innovation alley," hosted during the two intermission periods of the speaker series. Innovation Alley 2014 featured fifteen innovative and interactive local businesses and organizations. Guests were able to network with each other, the business representatives and enjoy local food provided by LSC catering.

View the Innovation Alley Coordinator Handbook to see all of the planning documents used for this event. This handbook was created to pass on to future students who take over this position.

Planning for this event began in June of 2014 for the October 2014 event. We gathered weekly in our direct teams (logistics, marketing and speakers) and then monthly as an entire organization. Post event, I led the remaining (non-graduated) team members in proposing the best way to move forward. Future TEDxCSU events will be planned by CSU's Ram Events, a department at CSU dedicated to creative diverse programming to enrich campus life.
